Recently, I got the once in a lifetime opportunity to travel Europe. I flew from Ottawa, ON over into London, UK. From there, my grandparents put the family on a mission to enjoy the view, the area and figure out where my grandparent's ancestors lived.
They found the address, however, it was saved until our last day. For our overnight stays, we had reserved a room in the Seacrest Hotel.
We got a BEAUTIFUL room, with red accents. We also got a BEAUTIFUL view of the beach. I loved it. While my grandparents were arguing about a lock on the luggage I snuck out and navigated the town. Nearby there was a pier and a beach and I found myself just sitting on the shore and watching the water. By the time I had gotten back we had found out that my grandfather had grabbed the wrong suitcase from the airport. The front desk staff was beyond phenomenal. They offered to drive my grandpa to the airport to switch bags, plus they went through numerous phone calls trying to get a hold of our Airline, though there was no exact way to reach them. They drove him out there, and my grandma and I wondered all around town until we found a delicious pub up the road.
The next day, we had breakfast in the hotel. They had beyond fantastic meals. They offered waffles, eggs, salmon, it was delicious. I enjoyed every single breakfast I had there.
I had absolutely no problems with the hotel. They were clean and beyond helpful. Though, the only problem I had at night, would have been the wifi. It was a little spotty in the room. I couldn't complain, I was never really in the room.
This hotel most definitely earned a full five stars in my honest opinion.
