As previously mentioned, I went to the UK. After the lovely and homey stay I had in Portsmouth I had very high expections of London, and the hotel my grandparents picked. Well, here’s my mistake: expections. One thing I learned from travelling was not to have expectations. The hotel’s lobby is down the road and around the corner and when we arrived we were so beyond confused. It was convenient because we were so close to Kings Cross and St. Pancreas station that it wasn’t too long of a walk. When we finally got in I was terrified about just how small the room was! There was 6 inches between my grandparents bed and mine. 6 INCHES. I guess there is no such thing as personal space in London? The room had dozens of ants, and the shower head sprayed the ENTIRE bathroom. My grandma felt so unsafe in the hotel. We locked up all our suitcases when we left and we kept checking our sheets to ensure that there were no ants in our bed. We could barely shuffle around each other in the room, it was horrific. I have seen things I won’t unsee... ever.

On a different note, the receptionist was very rude. And they were clearly under staffed. They attempt to look professional, however it didn’t feel clean or welcoming.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’d give it maybe a single star. I was not very happy at all with my stay at the Kings Cross, Albion House.
Keeping it short and honest, just like me!

Oh and enjoy my pictures of the hotel room, pardon my grandparents stuff on the bed.
